About Me
With over a decade of dedicated commitment to the art of historical folk music and extensive performance history at esteemed venues across the United States, I am a versatile professional known for bringing the soulful atmosphere of the Old West back to life alongside my father, Mark Lee Gardner, using instruments such as the fiddle, banjo, and jaw-bone to transport audiences back in time.
My passion for preserving and sharing cultural heritage has driven me to the stages of Rock Ledge Ranch in Colorado Springs, CO, the enchanting Watkins Woolen Mill in Lawson, MO, the captivating American Museum of Western Art in Denver, CO, and the Wild West History Association's renowned events. I have traveled the world alongside my father, following in his footsteps and exploring the wonders of previous worlds inside our own. During my tenure as a seasonal tour guide at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park, I had the privilege of immersing visitors in a rich tapestry of history. Through guided tours, I delved into the intricate workings of the three-story mill, unveiling the fascinating history behind its operations. Guests also gained insights into the captivating narrative of the Watkins family house and estate, enhancing their appreciation of this historical gem.
Passionate about both my artistic pursuits and the opportunity to connect people with the past, I continue to explore new avenues in which I can share the beauty of historical folk music and the cultural heritage of the American West.
